Gautham,
It is only the flanged components that requires dimensional attributes to
define the flange, have a problem. Fitting thicknesses can be calculated
using the standard pipe wall thickness calculation methods.
For the flanges exceeding the ASME B16.5 2500 rating, ASME Sec VIII Div
1Flange design methods are used for the P-T rating. Gasket dimensions will
follow the dimensions adopted in the flange design. A ring type of joint
will require lower sealing bolt loads and thus will result in a lighter
flange.
You should be able to limit the ratings to what is required per the design
conditions and not bound by the 4500 rating that is available in ASME
B16.34.
A regular flange manufacturer will be able to design the flange to the P-T
rating specified and to the P91 material, according to the ASME Sec VIII
Div 1 rules.
Alternatively you would want to consider the use of hub joints, which will be lighter in comparison to an equivalent WN Flange.
