From the title "quiz time" I concluded that you already know the answer:

   Imagine you need to tie in two pipelines. Pipeline A is coming from the north at 30 degree uphill at elevation 200 and pipeline B is coming from the south/west corner flat at elevation 206. There are more than one way to tie in these two pipelines, the offset selection map you provided is to provide you with the guideline to do it. Let me know what is my grade?
