The main deliverable (to the fab shop) is still the iso, and most major 3D piping software packages license Alias' Isogen.
Some places issue the isos only and expect the 3D models to take the place of GAs. This leads to "Uh-oh"s and "whoops"es in many cases.
As a checker that has to sign, I find myself rejecting more and more of these because many are illegible (or lines are improperly broken up by the extractor).
