That`s the tricky one, different cos. have different yardsticks for them depending upon the plant nature and the level of information level available. in general you may use 15-25 % for pipe and fittings, flanges & valves-10-15%.special items 10 -15%, etc

Hi,
As a general rule in the proposal phase, piping MTO is done according to preliminary P&ID's and preliminary routing study. regarding to any practical results, would you please let me know how many percent is needed to add (normally)o preliminary take-off, i.e. pipe, valves, flanges, fittings & gaskets.... for items smaler than 2" and equal & larger than 2".
