Hi Richy

Roof is fixed in Cone roof/fixed roof tanks & in floated condition in floating roofs tanks. There are further two types of Floating roof tanks 1) External floating roof tanks
2) Internal floating roof tanks with fixed roof

Floating roof tanks are used for volatile product storage. For Details, please refer to API 650
