Alloy 625 LCF (UNS N06626) is often used material for bellows expansion
joints in steam service to reduce the effects of CSCC.
In checking B31.1 Code Listed Materials, UNS N06626 is not listed in Appendix A.
The expansion joint manufacturer stated that "Alloy 625 LCF (UNS N06626) is a subset of Alloy 625 Gr. 1 (UNS N06625)".
I am not familiar with the term "subset" in this usage, and para. 123.1 of the Code does not address material subsets, that I can see.
The material manufacturer's data sheet states "UNS No6626...meets the requirements for UNS N066625", and UNS N06625 is a Listed Material.
Is the material manufacturer's data sheet statement sufficient to qualify this material as a Listed code material?
