Chris -
I did not understand a matching UNS number was not sufficient. Normally, the materials I work with have the A, B, SA, or SB designation.
Further delving found B31.1 Code Case 146-1 (March 1989), which approved UNS06625 conforming to ASTM B 443-84, and meeting certain additional requirements. That code case expired in March, 2007. However, in 2005 edition of B31.1 ASTM B 443 was added.
Additional details provided on the material from the manufacturer indicated that N06626 and N06625 comply with ASTM B 443.
Thanks for your helpful input.

No. The material has to conform to an ASME material spec with an SA
number. The UNS number may be used within the ASME material
specification as an identifier, but no UNS number is sufficient to
allow the material to be used. Either your supplier doesn't know what
he's talking about or he's using an imprecise means for identifying a
material which is actually supplied to an ASME Spec. You need to find
out which. Just the UNS number is not a sufficient indentification.
