One piece ball valves trend to be standard port (i.e. one size smaller than pipe dia.), and two piece ball valves trend to be full port (i.e. same size pipe).
If the two pieces and one piece ball valves have the same pressure rating and same materials of construction, there should be no problem other then the hydraulics of the design and more important the other considerations.
Other considerations been that one piece ball valves are safer i.e. less possible parts for leaking, etc.. Consider the other factors, and then go ahead. Look for safety factors.
One piece ball valves are cheaper then two piece, maybe that is the only reason that are on the drawing. Who knows.

Hello everyone,
im looking for some information which could help me. My question is, if have ball valves which required me to use one piece type. but due to sourcing problem the only option i have is to use two piece type. Hope my fellow friend could give me brief explananation regard to this matter.
