Good am!! I am a PDS drafter and i want to explore more, I want to know the basic routing and standards,
i want to know where to begin with the design so that when i was given a plot plan i can route and start the design.
can you teach me?

Is the piping designed or being designed to a code, such as one of the ASME B31 codes?

If so, expansion stress calculations for thermal cycling are presented therein.

Gentlemen,
I would like to know how do you calculate thermal transient stresses in piping systems. This type of stresses arise during steam system start up and
shut down; change of pumping product during operation in cryogenic systems,
etc.
Thanks for your cooperation.
