As soon as we go past the old technology of printed media, things occur that are
beyond our control. Technology marches onwards constantly evolving, for
instance who has a 51/4" floppy reader.
A point that is prominent in my field is that most N plants that exist today rely on software that runs on hardware in some cases that is 20 plus years old.
I do find this comment amusing... "The publicly accessible portions of the ISO
