To use certain material for certain application, you have to some basic
questions..such as..
- Is this part of piping to be validated against any international or local
codes / standards / rules?
- If "YES", did you checked those codes/standards if CPVC is a permissible
material?
- Did you check with CPVC vendor if CPVC pipe could operated at your design
temp./pressure?
- Did you check with Vendor whether CPVC will deteriorate due to sun UV rays?
- In this CPVC is used in that plant for similar pressure & temperatures?
If you pass all the above questions then, next stage is designing..
