why do you need to "stick" a teflon pad between the insulation cover and the pipe clamp? If its cryo service, and youre spool is quite long - then its fair to assume that the thermal movement will be quite significant? If that is the case, why do you need to hold "down" your pipe using the clamp and thereby resist the movement. I probably dont understand your question?
