I'll stick to my guns. It takes a helluva lot more that CAD software and a shop tour to know enough about piping to start laying out isometrics. Your NDT inspectors spent a helluva lot more than that learning their business or they wouldn't be certified, and I claim doing an actual design, as opposed to cartooning up a straight line from point A to point B, requires the same skill level.
