same topic - vents at high point. maybe different service application but same intent. The rain water is the least of the problem, actually it is more of a non-problem (im really surprised that it was even raised). sure i can install a valve vent without plugging it and i wont have a problem related to rain water. The more pressing problem is using a low quality vent valve then it you see a pattern of a failing valves one after the other. but that has nothing to do wether youre plugging the vent valve or not.
