It appears that we have a different understanding of what an "assessment" is as far as piping is concern.

The "assessment" of piping im referring to is similar to what was covered in the book Piping and Pipelines / Assessment Guide by A. Keith Escoe c2006. Of which details can be found in Chapter 1 Piping & Pipeline FFS and in Chapter 3 FFS of local thin areas, plain dents, dents-gouges & cracks for piping.

If this is the one, then performing an assessment for the item covered in this thread is excessive and/or misplaced.

If its otherwise, then i rest my case.
