<I had heard about Six Sigma concepts, and googled it and gone through the

basic concepts of it.
It is being used & followed in many production and even in many Design industries.
Whether Six Sigma can be applied in Piping industries? or Is there any companies in Piping field that follow six sigma concepts?> Rajkumar - Six Sigma is presently in place with Bechtel & their Canadian division Bantrel. Even though Six Sigma requires specialized training it has proven itself to be a valuable tool which recognizes inefficiencies and proposes solutions. In the Piping / Engineering world this plays heavily - as our industry is plagued with bottlenecks which affect deliverables, & overall costs / schedules.
