   When you quote someone email response, please quote it completely. In the end of my email, I recommend the same thing which you mentioned in your email i.e. take expert advise for corrosion allowance.

Corrosion is so subtle and so dependent on so many things, it's not likely software would be of much help and may even be misleading. Get professional help if it's an issue. Service experience is the truest guide. A sound understanding of chemistry and metallurgy and the willingness to do some research and testing will help.
