"Quality of the drawings" is the key issue. That's what our end
product is: a legible, well laid-out, understandable and accurate
representation of a concept that was created by numerous individuals
contributing to the goal.
In the "old days", this quality was ensured by an iron-fisted chief draftsman who could duke it out with the engineers. Now, it seems that technology has taken control and the basic rules of the game have changed.
