I'm thinking about doing an experiment, using PipingDesign.com and you subscribers.

Do you think a "test project" would work, with individuals contributing to a hypothetical job? Obviously it would have to be quite simple, and I suppose AutoCAD would have to be the platform, since it is so popular.

We could start with a basic concept from a design idea and work it through the various stages, with different people contributing G.A.'s, iso's and design analysis. It would also be nice to have a piping fabricator contribute comments.

I'd put up a separate section of PipingDesign.com to feature the experiment for viewing and redlining of DWF files (if this can be done) where everybody can check up on the progress.
