Paul,

Just a question for you. What do you expect to gain from this? AutoCAD training??? It sounds like it would be an exercise in futility.

		 I'm thinking about doing an experiment, using
PipingDesign.com and you
		 subscribers.

		 Do you think a "test project" would work, with individuals
		 contributing to a hypothetical job? Obviously it would have
to be
		 quite simple, and I suppose AutoCAD would have to be the
platform,
		 since it is so popular.

		 We could start with a basic concept from a design idea and
work it
		 through the various stages, with different people
contributing G.A.'s,
		 iso's and design analysis. It would also be nice to have a
piping
		 fabricator contribute comments.

		 I'd put up a separate section of PipingDesign.com to feature
the
		 experiment for viewing and redlining of DWF files (if this
can be
		 done) where everybody can check up on the progress.
