Their solution is developing DNA microarray gene expression information.
Their technologies and
services permit researchers to fully explore the diverse causes and
consequences of changes in
gene expression, and to focus on those cellular processes that are
specifically affected by
exposure to pharmaceuticals, chemicals, or genetic engineering.
The company was launched in 1997 to design and implement DNA microarray
gene
expression technologies and products and to overcome the severe problems
that limit the
discovery and effective development of compounds used in the pharmaceutical
and
agricultural industries. Two years after beginning business, my client
successfully deployed its first commercially available bioinformatics
system called "Expression Data Analysis System".
The company's technology and patent portfolio were enhanced by its purchase
of a
Bioscience company in 1999 thus laid the foundation for a development and
investment
partnership with a subsidiary company of the Hewlett-Packard Company.

Subject: [PipingDesign] Ad Page Revision - Comments?
<a href="http://www.PipingDesign.com/advertise.html">http://www.PipingDesign.com/advertise.html</a>
Here's a view of what the contents of the newly-revised advertise.html page says. Does anyone have any comments, stuff to add or tips for signing advertisers/sponsors (or even better, a good marketing contact that is willing to work on commission)?
And, yes, I know part of it is gratuitous regarding you listmembers, but
anyone that is still here probably deserves the title of "a prominent
member
of the professional piping community".
Any thoughts (nobody ever looks at the advertising page anyway)?
Paul
-PipingDesign.com is targeted towards professionals that specify components
and influence purchasing / specification decisions.
-Visitors to PipingDesign.com are a focused market group, so you are
assured
a targeted market audience. Worldwide.
-PipingDesign.com guarantees relevancy of content; you won't find "Breaking
News", horoscopes, flashing text, appeals to register with us or access
fees.
-PipingDesign.com collects scattered piping-related technical information
from the internet and links it back to the homesite for easy retrieval. Not
many professionals have the time to surf the web for half an hour to locate
an important piece of information.
-PipingDesign.com has an excellent search function ; if your company's site
is featured because it contains good tech info, check to see what your
competition is offering when it comes to "value-added" benefits.
-PipingDesign.com has an automated electronic mailing list to encourage
knowledge-sharing among piping professionals. This feature also serves to
keep members up to date as to what's new onsite. Email addresses are not
released to third parties, and spam is not tolerated.
-The members of the PipingDesign.com mailing list are typically prominent
members of the piping design community worldwide.
-PipingDesign.com is updated frequently (at least more than once per week
on
average) and internet resources are monitored daily; it is not a dormant
site. There is not much chance of getting a "404 not found" error message
when you use PipingDesign.com as a jump-off point for piping-related
information.
-Your message at PipingDesign.com runs 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Compare this to the run time of an ad in a trade paper, magazine or
newspaper.
-As more and more professionals start recognizing the internet as a
required
resource, the companies that offer the best technical information will be
the most popular. You'll always find those companies listed at
PipingDesign.com. The web is not just for presenting gaudy graphic
advertising for products and services, it is truly a communications
revolution!
