Purpose

As of this writing there are about 175 members on this list.

Some think it is a destination for job adverts, others think it's just a place to put their resumes and yet others think it is simply a place they want to be connected to. Some people are even unaware of the existence of www.pipingdesign.com.

Of all, I value the technical inquiries that appear here (because I learn from them), the personal insights (again, because I learn from them) and the useful contributions.

If one looks at the world wide web, the opportunities for learning are surprising, and this site was not founded to be part of the "dot com business boom".

It will always be here, non-commercial (despite the .com name) and open to all those interested in the industrial piping design industry.

There have been dozens of new subscribers in the past few weeks, and it has been awhile since my last update notice. I just wanted to drop a note to everyone.

Eventually we will move to unmoderated posting status for all, but not until there is more email traffic. If anyone is interested in becoming a moderator please contact me.

There are interesting things to come!
