Did you mean API RP 576 Inspection of Pressure-Relieving Devices? I'm inetresting in the pipe material selection to protect piping from two-phase erosion. Is there any than SS?

Regards,

Samuel

not suprising. If youre aware of the API 576 , this could have been avoided. there are a lot of reported incident involving the failure of the piping in the condensate system. Guys from Furmanite, Plidco and Team Inc
makes their living fixing leaks in the condensate piping system. 2 phase flow is mostly what hit us and undersize pipe. What we did is check the vel and pressure drop. piping failing the criteria were marked and inlcuded in the wall thikcness survey. If the metal thinnning is trending up, we are ready/ and prepared and when opportunity comes we implement the fix. can be use using the CRA at elbow, enlarging the pipe, upgrading the trim of the control valve, etc.
