Prasad,

For sea water service , you may use duplex stainless steel (UNS # S31254) for valve trim .As far I remember , the equivalent ASTM number is A351 CK3MCUN . Valve Body material selection is also important. For small size (3" and smaller) , you can use body material as duplex SS. But for larger size, CS body with internal phenolic coating can be used due to economic consideration .

You can contact the valve manufacturer for different alternative materials .    Arif Patel

   Hello!

Can anybody please suggest ASTM Specs (Non-Ferrous) for Valve Trims? The    Service is Sea Water.

   Thanks,
