You don't need calculus, simple geometrical calculations will do !
Volume of a Torus is PI*D time the Area of C/S, in this case it is a Hollow Circular Torus, thus
Formula for volume of a Hollow Circular Torus is
[PI*D] * PI * (d1^2 - d2^2) / 4
OR
PI^2 * D * (d1^2 - d2^2) / 4
where D = Mean Bend Radius (@ centerline)
d1 = Outside Diameter (OD of Elbow/Pipe + Insulation thk.) d2 = Inside Diameter (OD of Elbow/Pipe)
Divide the value by 4 for 90° bends, by 8 for 45° bends & so on. . .
