You have not specified your material, but :

6"X4" butt welded reducing cross are standard fittings for carbon steel and stainless steel.
Dimensions are : 5 5/8" center to end of 6" run, 5 1/8" center to end of 4" branch.

If you want something cheaper and if not conflicting with your specifications : use a 6" piece of pipe(length per your requirements) and saddle weld 4" piece of pipe on each side of the 6" main. The length of your 4" pipe is dictated by your design requirements and shipping restrictions.

Hi, Has anybody used 6"X4" reducing cross in a pipeline? I am in a fix whether to use an reducing cross or a cross with two reducer while laying out a line........ can any body help me regarding this. Is at all 6"x4" reducing cross can be used?
