It depends on the application.
Example, for boiler safety valves, the ASME Sect.1 sub PG's must be followed for valve certifications.

Valve bonnet is a pressure retaining component with mechanical seals. If the manufacturer is using standard flange, then the ANSI B16.5 design standard is applicable for that portion of the bonnet. Some bonnets are welded, or bolted, and some are forged. Which one are you looking for?
