This stuff is covered in the Code books. If you can't use the books, you should hire someone who does.

Libraries, text books, class notes, design standards, web sites. This sort of this is everywhere.

I'm probably going to get flamed for being so hopelessly insensitive, but this is the sort of thing you're supposed to know to work as a designer.
