Syam:
In my experience, commissioning criteria vary. What are the design criteria for pipe supports (earthquake zones, etc.), what is the pipe transporting (flammables, corrosives, water, medium pressure steam, etc.), if inside, what is the industry (potable/food, pharmaceuticals, sewage treatment, petrochem...), what is the pressure and acceptable pressure drop, etc.
In general, the commissioning criteria are: does it meet local and industry codes and standards, does it meet the facility/owner/process needs.

Subject: [PipingDesign] Precommissioning and commissioning New piping
system. [bcc][faked-from][bayes]
Dear All,
I would like to know how to conduct precommissioning and commissioning for a new piping system both in-side plant and out-side plant piping.
Could you tell me how to do it step by step?
I need your advice.
Best Regards
Syam Tawakkal
