Kumar,

That's a good question, I've tried to figure out the difference myself a few times.

From what I recall, one was based in the UK and the other was based in the United States. One was well known for offshore work and the other was primarily used for land-based facilities (someone please correct me, as I am not knower of all).

Then, one of the two "merged" with the other, apparently because of some amazing marketingspeak and stock stuff and became the same. I can assume that job cuts followed because less people=more profit.
