Not at all. Just make sure to treat the cause and not the symptoms.
Fatigue problems take time to appear. If there are poor supports
elsewhere, you need to fix them all, and determine that whatever applied
the cyclic loads isn't still lurking in the shadows to reappear somewhere
else.
