Steve,
2002 VX Series II Gen III SS Commodore ........... the very last VX SS built and registered actually
Fitted with optional cruise control, climate control, trip computer,
MP3 player ................ and a little visit to HSV for...
-Tuned headers
-3" s/s mandrile bend exhausts with crossflow chamber
-New o/size throttle bodies
-Cold Air Induction
-Shift Kitted tranny (traction control remains usable)
-Brake kit upgrade with 13" rotors and 6 spots
-Re chipped and re-tuned
Dyno results are not bad to say the least with a
massive ................ 348kW at the wheels.....!!!!
That's without head work and cam change .............
Woo Hoo..........!!!!
Will send photo's when I get it home but it looks pretty much stock and just full body kit and white in colour so nothing to draw attention ............... but what an assasin it'll be if you want it to be. It just looks "Plain Jane" so that will do me nicely thank you.
Bob and Baz have been driving it around and Baz has a 226kW Subaru Impreza STi and even he reckons it can get up a bit for a big car ........ and he normally doesn't like saying that sort of thing about V8's.
Bob just reckons..........."Fcuk me dead you're mad"...... I think was the quote.
He said top gear at 60klm/hr and tramp it and on asphalt it'll kick down, smoke up no worries .... and stay straight....I wonder what times it'd be good for ...I wonder.....???
Heh heh heh...........
End of message.
Sorry about the reference to headers and throttle bodies - sounds a bit pipish.
Cheers
