It raises some interesting possibilities, for example welding steel pipe to aluminium pipe. We could use one welder to do the steel welds, and the other to do the aluminium welds. Futher if one welder is qualified for 12mm welds perhaps we could use him to do two 6mm welds at the same time. I wondered about getting him to do 12 X 1mm welds but feel that this is getting a bit silly.
