I'd have to agree there. Too many listmembers ask questions and then disappear into list lurkdom. Granted, sometimes questions get posted and don't receive any response, but that is most likely because the original inquiry is too vague, basic or no one knows any good ideas/solutions.
In this case where actual photos were provided after back-and-forth private email from the moderator in order to get the images posted (and piqued the interest of the group), it would seem to be only appropriate that the originator provide some feedback.
On the other hand, not everyone has access to the internet at all times and different time zones can cause delays.
