JiJoy,

There are heaps of sites that let you download software to try before you buy. It is called shareware. Generally the software is uninhibited for a month and then dies on you if you do not pay a registration fee and unblock the program within a month. I have just spent a little time surfing and have sourcing a few you might want to try. ( I have not even looked at them) They are listed below. If you have never tried shareware before you might find it interesting to give those two a go.

I found those two using the words "cost estimating engineering" in the search engine www.google.com. You will find heaps more if you persevere with a few more words like "estimate" "pipework" etc. There are lots of sites that list shareware, and they all have a little search window. Use the search window to home in on the words estimating, cost estimating, costing etc.

HAI ALL, THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR REPLYING TO THE QUERY. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER ANYONE OF YOU HAS ANY EXCEL OR ANY OTHER SPREADSHEET FOR BIDDING OR ESTIMATING. ANY SOFTWARE WILL ALSO DO. I SAW A SITE PIPING OFFICE IN WHICH THERE ARE MANY TOOLS FOR OFFICE ( IN SPREADSHEETS).
BUT IT IS NOT FREE OF COST. FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOME. IF ANYONE HAS SOME SOFTWARES OR SPREADSHEETS, PLEASE ATTACH IT IN THE FILES SECTION OF THE GROUP. I HOPE THIS WILL BE GREAT HELP TO OTHERS. THANKS
