RE: Future of the PipingDesign Group

Yes, we all like the group with additional member discussion. The only reason some of us do not respond is the attack mode that seems to be present. In the past someone ask for a flange bolting procedure. I responded with a word for word procedure from EPRI. Then came the attack. If someone had a better procedure for flange bolting why hadn't it been provided? This group is good at discussion for the most part, and I don't want anyone to think I have a chip on my shoulder. Respect is what is necessary for all members. The only stupid question is the one that was not ask.

Maybe Paul's real intent was to draw out some of the "lurkers" into a discussion. If so, I'd say he's succeeded masterfully. I've never seen as many individuals respond to a single topic. That Paul...sure is a sneaky little b*****d!

Now, if we can just get that same participation for a piping related subject....

   Group,
Just want to thank Paul for the great job he's done for this list and at    www.pipingdesign.com . He has done a service for the piping community.    Hopefully the list will continue. I would apply for moderator if there was    enough income to justify the time.......

And Paul, I'm still interested in resuming our advertising. $30 (US)/month    for web banner and list sponsor?
