Sure it's real. It may not be accurate--depends on exactly waht needs to get bigger...

It's a weird thing about the Internet. I've been putzing around since the middle 90's and every time I get burned out with all the garbage looking to be crammed down my throat I come across some real gems that restore my faith. You can literally start anywhere, but I'd start with the Pipingdesign.com archives. Plenty of interesting stuff to keep the newbie busy for a year. I'd find myself a program like URL manager to keep track of book marks and start doing Google searches. You can get on-line materials catalogs from manufacturers, books from second hand book stores (curious things, books--no monitor, no hard drive, not even batteries. The display is permanent hardcopy--I think it's called paper. Best thing about books is that you can carry them onto airplanes without showing the gate goons how they work and you can read them in the crapper.) and arrange for interlibrary loans. Hard to beat.
