If I walked into your office and demanded you drop everything so you could provide me with free engineering, you'd cheerfully kick my presumptuous butt down the stairs. And everyone would figure I had it coming.

Your e-mail does exactly the same thing. You're saying everyone on the list needs to be ready on a moment's notice to provide you the answer you want. I suggest you stay away from the stairs in my office.
