Hi all,

    I've recently been asked to performe a flexibility analysis as follows:

       Pipe OD: 4"
       Pipe ID: 1.1/2"
       Pressure: 40.000 PSI
       Material: High Alloy Steel

My general thoughts up to now:

• I believe ASME B31.X codes won't work up to this pressure (but i'm not sure).
• I'm very unconfortable with the idea of using Caesar II to perform this calculation.
• I'm probably end up using Algor.
• How about plastic deformations? Creep? Geez...

Any thoughts from you guys?
