Normally,
You have to Anchor the one of the sadddle support at both launching &
receiving Eqpt.If the loads are too high then first support from launcher
or receiver if taken from the ground on foundation can be designed for
higher loads .If that is also not possible then you can go for line stop
with suitable Gap to reduce the loads to required acceptable value as per
Stress Analysis Requirement(You can have a slot in to the saddle of
required gap.)

Hai all,
I have to design a pigging launching and receiving station for 46" pig.
There is a hydraulic launcher at the loading end and a winch and rod at
receiving end to pull the pig out.
I want to see some similar designs of pigging stations to understand how
the saddle is supported on the platform, how the hydraulic launcher is
supported, etc...
Can any one mention some sites from where I can see this. Please someone
guide me.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Jijoy.
