Dear all,

As most of the people do not know etiquettes of different cultures and our discussions are technical too then then there should be no problem for any one in name, whether it is first, second or last but if someone request somebody to write his/ her with this or that name then he/we should try to write correctly.

regards,

For westerners I think there is always going to be confusion with other languages. We all go by our first name, and when we see names that we don't recognize we pick one and use it.

I once knew a brilliant Vietnamese mechanical engineer and he didn't care what you called him, as long as you called him. I once asked him about the proper way, but he didn't really care about it.

You can call me Paul or Bowers. Sometimes people call me shithead and I respond to that as well.

Paul
