Bruce, I think you misspelled "snow".

True that Canada is a very big place, but it's all horizontal. Still takes forever to get anywhere. I always get a chuckle out of Texans' interpretation of bigness (cue old joke about Australian rats, I.E., Kangaroos).

I think you might be slightly misunderstanding the actual danger in rural parts of Soviet Canuckistan. Usually, the driver of cars with plates from Quebec is insulted first, then shot.
