Hi LIU,
My name is Raj & I work for a company which makes spring hangers & Supports , the name of the company is Pipe SUpports India (P) Ltd. Now to answer your question pl look at the points below 1. Is it an crogenic application. ?? if so what is the trmperature 2. Normally shoes are used , but then you can use the pipe sitting directly on the base mounted type spring can , the Load flange connected to the top of the spring can , will be specially designed i.e to make it curved to suit the pipe OD.
3. Weld RF pad on the pipe where there is going to be contact. 4. If you anticipate horizontal momement then provide PTFE slider on the curved load flange to facilitate sliding at a reduced co-eff of friction to between .06 to .1.
5. Caution , this curved type flange allows horizontal movement in only one direction. i.e either in X or Z direction. 6. Alternatively you can have an arrangement by which you weld pipe stubs to the maine line & support with proper shoes on on either side of the pipe. 7. A special shoe can be designed with reduced height to suit your requrements.

Any other questions pl feel free to ask , I can also sketch some designe & send if you can dend the general arrangement sketch to me.

Cheers
Yours in Piping
Raj
