Does anybody know of a software that would allow someone to plot out a template for joining pipe at various angles? I know there are pipe fitting handbooks with information about cutouts to create laterals, but it would be nice to find a software solution.
I have taken the pipefitter books and created templates with some success. I can also create AutoCAD solids and do distance inquiries at various locations on the solid to create a template. But I would just like to unwrap that solid into a flat sheet.
The closest I have found in a web search is DevPipe at www.devpipe.com.br Has anybody used that?
