One of the factors I'd consider would be the ruptured FRP miter joint I
investigated a few years back. It was in a 18 in chilled water system
running at 90 psi or so. The installation crew couldn't get the run to
pass a leak test, so they just kept slathering resin soaked mat over
the elbow until eventually it passed. Unfortunately the miter joint
hadn't been finished properly and eventually it just let go. Quite a
mess.
