And to who invented the internet?
Try Tim Berners-Lee: a pom as usual, as poms are frequently the starters of the most useful (e.g. electricity, mini) and useless (e.g. hovercraft, Z80) inventions.
He did not patent his idea, and made his information freely available as he thought it might be of use to others.
Compare that with Bill. If "Bill" has been copyrighted, then I am probably in trouble.
Sorry, I'm having another bad hair day today
In exasperation

Hi Paul

to shoot it out from under you? Surprised Chris hasnât done so already.
Donât know what you were drinking (or thinking) when you wrote that
posting, but could I order 1000L or so?
Cheers
Steve

That was an interesting and insightful comment. Piping is not always for
an exotic, sexy fluid like cool liquid hydrogen. Often it means basic infrastructure for a society.
This is why helping the "third world" is important - we (in the western world) have a moral resposibility to share what we know.
Ignoring the Asian dragons and the existing Russian influence will only hurt us in the long run - this phenomenon seems to me be prety obvious.
The world is going to change drastically (but for the better) due to the
internet. I guess we have the Americans to thank for that bit of social development, although many countries are following their lead.
