No need. You've done a good job pointing out the source of computer
abuse--namely that without proper engineering justification and
validity, the 3D model is pretty much just a cartoon. You need
tolerances, assembly documents, material specifications, make-froms,
buy-or-make decisions, fab specifications like welding procedures and
QA requirements and interface documentation to turn the eye candy into
an engineering document.
You didn't include anything on FEA abuse, like poor interpretation and ignorance of physical principles, fabrication methods and service conditions, I forgive you. ;->
