Problem in flow of Compressed Air.

Hi all,
I am a Graduate Engineer(Mechanical), currently working with a Steel company. Right now we are facing a problem with our Compressed Air Line, to be used in upcoming plants.We are having 2 nos. air compressors of 1450 m3/hr, with a buffer storage tank of 10 m3 (compressed air is stored at a pressure 6 bar in tank & distributed as per requirement). We wanted to install one more compressor in series at the end of pipe. Suggest me wether to install compressor with a storage tank of same capacity in the end. We are having space constrain so that we can not install such compressor at compressor house.Other problems are as follows -

a)Is ther any specific foumula for taking Tappings from comp. air line.
b)What type of valve will be feasiable for isolation.
c) Type of pipe material and selection of pipe schedule.
