What is the pressure?
Paul
Hello there,
I was wondering if you could help me out with an NVQ project -
I have a design idea (see attached picture if you like) which involves a ring main tapped off from the outlet of a screw type air compressor in an acoustic enclosure, through a timer-operated solenoid valve. The idea behind this is that it will regularly blast out the built up dust from the radiator fins.
BUT- and this is where I was wondering if you could help- I'm not sure
what type of pipework is most suitable for this application. The air
from the compressor will be fairly hot, up to around 70-80 degrees C,
but the pipework will only be used for a few seconds at a time. Is
plastic pipework ok for this? I'm after the easiest to fabricate and
install that will be effective for the job. I hope you were the right
people to ask!
Thanks
