RE: Pump Priming Tank

Hi ccla

yes it should if the pump has a suction lift (i.e. pump is higher than its liquid supply). If the pump does not have a suction lift, then a priming tank is not required.
Leaks in priming tanks are a common cause of loss of prime.

Cheers

Steve

Is anyone know whether the pump priming tank should be air tight ?

Please guide me.

Thanks.
